Becoming a new pet parent is not a decision you should undertake lightly. You should conduct even more research if you’re considering becoming the owner of more than one dog.

Not all dogs happily coexist, so you’ll need to establish that any breeds on your shortlist are compatible. You should also make certain that both breeds get on well with children if you have kids in the house.

Owning multiple dogs will increase your expenses exponentially, with higher costs for food and vet bills, as well as additional grooming.

On the plus side, owning more than one dog can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Make sure, though, that you give your dogs thoughtful names that complement each other.

We’ll get started with some male and female duo names for dogs before highlighting hundreds of other options split into easily scannable categories.
